Is Junior Choir Right for Your Child?
The Shelby Bible Church Junior choir is open to children from kindergarten through the 6th grade. However, parents of younger children often have concerns about whether or not their child is ready to participate. Here a a few guidelines that will help you to make this choice. The instructional setting will require that children are able to remember a simple set of rules and follow verbal directions. Choir members should also be able to sit and receive instruction in a non-disruptive manner for a period of at least 30 minutes at a time. Through prayerful consideration, you'll know when the time is right for your child to begin participating in this exciting ministry.
